Privacy Policy

Summary

Fluid Bloom Media LLC does not receive your restoration job content and does not use app data for tracking or advertising. Drying Log has no third-party advertising. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase history for subscription functionality and aggregate subscription analytics, as described below.

Information You Enter

You may enter customer and claim details, addresses, technician names, room information, moisture and atmospheric readings, equipment records, notes, signatures, photos, estimates, invoices, payment balances, and job attachments. This content is cached in the app’s private storage and may sync through your private iCloud database to devices using the same Apple Account. Fluid Bloom Media LLC does not operate a server that receives this content.

Camera and Photo Library

Drying Log requests access only when you choose to capture or select jobsite evidence, a meter display, a signature, or a company logo. Job images may sync through your private iCloud database. A company logo is stored in app settings on the device. The app does not upload these images to Fluid Bloom Media LLC or RevenueCat.

On-Device OCR

Meter-display and written-scope text recognition uses Apple’s Vision framework on your device. Images used for OCR are not sent to Fluid Bloom Media LLC. A scope image you choose to keep is attached to its job in private app storage and may sync through your private iCloud database. OCR results are suggestions and must be reviewed before use.

Microphone and Speech Recognition

Drying Log requests microphone and speech-recognition access only when you tap Talk while creating an estimate or invoice. The app does not store the audio recording. Recognized words are placed into an editable scope and are stored only when you create the document. Recognition runs on device when supported; Apple’s speech-recognition service may process audio when on-device recognition is unavailable, subject to Apple’s privacy terms. Audio and transcripts are not sent to Fluid Bloom Media LLC.

On-Device Estimate Assistance

On supported devices, Drying Log may use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework to extract editable line items and polish an estimate or invoice scope from text you typed, dictated, or scanned. It does not send claim, customer, pricing, photo, or job content to Fluid Bloom Media LLC or a developer-operated AI service. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, the app builds a local editable fallback without inventing prices. You must verify every description, quantity, rate, and total before sending a document.

Reports and Sharing

PDF and CSV reports are generated locally. When you use the iOS share sheet, you choose the recipient or third-party service. Any information you share is then handled according to the recipient’s or service provider’s privacy practices.

Purchases

Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. Drying Log reads transaction and entitlement status from StoreKit to unlock purchased features. The app also uses RevenueCat to validate the Drying Log Pro entitlement and provide aggregate subscription reporting. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase history, receipt, app, and device-platform information for app functionality and analytics. Drying Log does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, phone number, job records, photos, report contents, advertising identifier, or payment card details, and does not use RevenueCat data for tracking or advertising.

Private iCloud Sync and Apple Services

Drying Log uses Apple CloudKit to sync job content through your private iCloud database. By default, only you can access that private database; its contents are not visible in the CloudKit developer portal and count toward your iCloud storage quota. Apple processes this data under Apple’s privacy terms. Your device may also include app data in Apple-managed backups according to your settings.

Retention and Deletion

Job data remains until you delete it. Deleting a job removes its associated rooms, readings, conditions, equipment, photos, signatures, estimates, invoices, and attachments and syncs that deletion through private iCloud. Settings includes a typed-confirmation Delete All Data action. Removing the app from one device does not necessarily delete records retained in private iCloud storage. You can manage app data through Apple Account and iCloud storage settings. Apple-managed backups may retain copies according to Apple’s settings and retention periods.

Children

Drying Log is a professional business utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

Drying Log relies on iOS and iPadOS application sandboxing, private CloudKit access controls, and device protections. No method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your devices with a passcode and use care when exporting sensitive reports.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app’s practices change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page. Material changes will also be reflected in App Store privacy disclosures.
