Common Questions
Does the iPhone measure moisture?
No. Drying Log records readings from your professional moisture meter. Meter-display OCR can suggest a number from a photo, but you must confirm it against the instrument before saving.
Where is job data stored?
Job records and photos are cached on your device and sync through your private iCloud database to devices using the same Apple Account. Drying Log does not operate an account server, cannot view private CloudKit records in the developer portal, and does not receive your job data.
How do I create a report?
Open a job, tap Documents, and choose Final Drying Report, Daily Visit Report, or Claim Summary. You can preview the PDF before sharing it.
How do estimates and invoices work?
Open Create, choose a job, and describe the scope by talking, typing, or scanning a written scope. Recognized photo text is interpreted on device into concise work items when Apple Intelligence is available, with a private OCR fallback on other supported devices. Drying Log creates an editable estimate or invoice using your saved business defaults and keeps the source image with the job. The generated draft stays in the conversation as a real document preview and is saved to Documents automatically. Tap it to open the scrollable PDF, edit its details, then Save or Save & Send. Review every line, quantity, and rate before sharing. Estimates and invoices are business documents and do not determine insurance coverage or reimbursement.
How do I add company branding?
Open Settings, then Company & Branding. Add the company name, contact details, certification, and logo used on Pro reports.
How do I cancel or restore Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases on the Drying Log upgrade screen after changing devices.
How do I delete data?
Tap Edit or swipe left on a job and confirm Delete. Use Settings > More > Delete All Data to remove every synced job after typing DELETE. Removing the app from one device does not necessarily remove records retained in private iCloud storage.
